Through its Norwegian subsidiary TTS Handling Systems AS (TTS) in Drøbak, TTS Marine ASA’s Port and Material Handling division has landed a contract with China Offshore Industrial Corporation (COIC) worth approximately NOK 103m.
The contract concerns yard equipment and the delivery will take place during spring 2008.
The yard equipment comprises three panel lines. The panel lines will increase the capacity for assembling and welding of steel sections. The equipment will be installed at the new yard Qingdao Beihai Shipyard. Last summer TTS landed a contract in China (app NOK 57m) for delivery of one panelling. The contracts are important with respect to the ongoing increase of capacity in China.
